I can’t begin to tell you how fabulous everything was last Wednesday! When I tell you everyone RAVED about the food! It was so delicious and the entire wait staff was so kind and helpful. If you would kindly thank Chef for accommodating our extra headcount so quickly and for delivering such an amazing meal. I don’t know if I’ve ever worked with such an amazing catering crew. And please let Mr. Willie know that he was an angel and I appreciate all the work he and his staff put into our event.

Delta Community Credit Union began our relationship with the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) in 2011 when we held an all-day event on President’s Day to bring our employees together to discuss strategic priorities and recognize top performers. After the success of that inaugural event, we made the meeting a permanent part of our business practices. We have returned to the GICC annually based on the quality of its facilities and convenient location. Although the majority of our employees live in metro Atlanta, we have a small number who come in from out of state. The GICC’s access to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and surrounding hotels allows us to accommodate them easily. Our event has also grown significantly in size and complexity, and the GICC enabled us to scale up and incorporate more sophisticated staging and audio-visual components. Of course, the main attraction for us is the professionalism and responsiveness of GICC’s staff. They consistently meet our expectations, including pre-event planning, catering, onsite support and cost. We look forward to partnering with GICC in future years.

On behalf of the Zeta Mu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated and all of our guests and vendors, we extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to you and the entire team at the GICC for helping make our fourth annual MasQueRade Affair Sneaker Ball a huge success. This is the second year we’ve hosted our signature event at the GICC, and we were, once again, amazed at how everything came together. Your guidance and expertise are second to none. You made yourself available to us whenever needed to ensure that everything was planned and executed precisely. Your presence and hands-on touch on the night of the event helped us settle in and eliminated the stress that usually comes with pulling off an event of this size.
Kelly and her team did a flawless job of ensuring that the food was available and replenished for the duration of the dining period. Our compliments to the chef(s) as well for preparing a meal that, once again, left everyone completely satisfied.
We are excited for what lies ahead for our Chapter. As our footprint in the community grows, we look forward to making our MasQueRade Affair bigger and better each year. We envision the GICC playing an ongoing role in that process.

In 2005, the Georgia Educational Technology Conference was searching for a new venue to host its annual conference and ultimately decided on the Georgia International Center in College Park, Georgia. Little did we know at the time the decision would result in a successful partnership that has now lasted nearly two decades. We came to the GICC looking for a facility that had a great layout that could accommodate our growing conference. We got what we came for and so much more. The team at the GICC is dedicated to ensuring our success and eagerly meets with us to discuss plans for our yearly conference. They are more than a venue to host our conference; they are family!

On behalf of the Empire Board of Realtists, I want to personally thank you for facilitating our event at the GICC on December 10th for our 62nd Annual Scholarship and Awards Gala where we honor high school students and outstanding Community members in addition to leaders within our organization. You had somewhat of a challenging position to take over our event from a previous employee. You were gracious and made us feel welcomed and that you would be just as committed to our success. Throughout the process, you were wonderful. Although we made many changes to our event including room plans and size you accommodated requests and helped to explain to us the options and opportunities to improve our event. Through your care and consideration, you helped to make our event a seamless experience for our guests and vendor partners.
As We are the oldest African American Trade Association serving the Atlanta area since 1939 the annual gala is a very important event for our members and community.
Each interaction that we had with you was productive and professional. We ran into some budgetary confinements, and you worked with us to modify the contract to accommodate the changes. You assisted us with meal selections and all the details that make an event great! You took time out of your busy schedule to walk us through the venue space to discuss the ballroom and lobby setup. You provided valuable insight as to how we could set up our venue for the best possible guest experience.
You delivered on our contract and superseded our expectations. Everything came together beautifully, and on the day of our event, you supported us and our vendors by being present to ensure all would go well with the ballroom setup.
Our guests had a great experience, and I want to let you know that you played an invaluable part in helping our organization make it possible.
I would like to express my appreciation to you and notify management that you came in and took us to a strong finish line! The GICC should be proud to have you on its team. Event planning can be very stressful, however, I could never tell from your calm kind disposition and attitude that “it can be done”.
